Vacation 2007
Vacation this year consisted of a trip to New York City, an Amtrak trip to Washington D.C., and then a visit to D.C. There are many pictures taken of several events.
One of the first things we did on our NYC leg of the vacation was to check out the Today show. Plans were made and about 3 AM the next morning the execution of the plan began to take shape. Even getting up that early and arriving soon after for the show we were still about tenth in line. One couple had gotten there at 11 PM the night before. The Today Show was a fun start for our vacation. The guest singer for the day was Hilary Duff. Meredith Vieira was a gracious hostess in her visiting with the crowd.

The building was one of the most fantastic buildings we saw while in Washington. The beauty was such that it was difficult to capture on with a camera but one might get a feel for the majesty from a few of these pictures.
