The Fosters

Pictures of our trip to Las Vegas.  The first few pictures are from the window of the plane as we fly to Nevada.  Then there are several pictures of various hotels.  A limo picture starts the trip to the airport and subsequent helicopter ride.  The pictures are first of Las Vegas as we take off.  Pictures follow of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and other sites.  The white ring on the lake pictures shows the high water mark of the lake and the fact that the lake is down around 100 feet at this time.  There is an interesting shot of work being done on a bridge over a huge canyon.  We were told that two or three contractors have gone out of business because they underestimated the difficulty of the project.  We landed in the canyon for a picnic and much picture taking.  The return flight showed more of the rugged beauty.  At a plateau on the return flight we saw a dude ranch and one can probably see an airplane landing strip.
